Whalley Range is a unique area of Manchester, its tree lined avenues, expanse of parkland and rich variety of architecture conveying a sense of rural tranquillity and harmony even though it is minutes away from one of the fastest growing and successful city centres in the country.
It is also unique in its sense of community - historically Whalley Range has been a centre of rich cultural diversity, attracting people from all walks of life and from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. In recent years this diversity has grown and developed and we hope this website will give those of you living here, or those of you merely visiting, a real sense of the richness and vitality of our community.
