Description
My Whalley Range
I have lived in Whalley Range for years on and off - now I'm here to stay (unless I acquire vast quantities of money and might feel compelled to live by the sea)
Members of my family also live here - and
my dads sister and her family lived in Whalley Range - on Marlborough Avenue - during the sixties.
A lot has changed - especially the shops - it would be nice to have a cafe on Clarendon Road and maybe a book shop or library - and a 2nd hand shop - and a market! I think the trees all the green space and most of the buildings are really beautiful and full of character. There are some brilliant places to socialise and great musicians and artists and photographers on the Range- it's ace!

Hi!

Just figuring out how the site works and wanted to say thanks for your help in trying to find our cat! Think it's really good that Whalley Range has it's own site. I have only lived here for a few years but really like it. Reckon a cafe and a market would be a great idea!
