How do I join the site?
Simply click join and follow instructions.
For Headline insert an introduction to your profile - such as Interested in Trees or Local Musician/photographer/artist etc. For description: Just a bit of info about yourself: I have lived in Whalley Range for 60 years and I love it or I am interested in starting up a new community group etc.

What happens when I join the site?
There are three levels of users
i. non-member: just guest users visiting the site (you cannot post anything on the site unless you become a member)
ii. Promotional: Newly signed-up users will be sent a confirmation email to their email address and must reply within 7 days. After confirmation the membership is pending until activated by the site administrator manually
iii. Standard: after activation of the new member, she/he becomes a standard member and can edit their profile, upload photos, music etc.

What's changed?
The site has been upgraded to the latest version as the old site was several versions out of date. We were given funding by CN4M to allow us to upgrade to the latest software.
Why have you done this?
To improve security and allow access to more features.
How do I add local news and articles to the home page?
Members can add news to their own blog or send articles/news to site admin to be included in news/article facility
What happens if I upload photos/videos/music to the site?
Once activated by admin, content will appear on site.
